Admission / Eligibility
B.Sc CSIT
- The candidate must have a +2 degree or its equivalent in science, physics, and mathematics with 100-100 full marks at the certificate level, as well as a minimum grade point average of C or second division in each subject. Or,
- A level: The candidate must have taken science courses in physics and mathematics with a minimum grade of D in each subject and 100-100 total marks. Or,
- CTEVT- Candidates with a diploma are required to have taken physics and mathematics courses worth 100 to 100 points and received a second division. Or,
- Foreign Universities: Applicants must have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Curriculum Development Center for the appropriate level.
- Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.
BSc Physics
- You must have completed 10+2/A Level or equivalent (with Math) from a recognized board or university.
- You must have obtained a minimum of Grade C/ Second Division.
- Pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University with a good mark to get your name on the college merit list.
BSc Microbiology
- You must have completed 10+2/A Level or equivalent (with Biology as a major subject) from a recognized board or university.
- Pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University with a good mark to get your name on the college merit list.
BBS / BIM / BA
- Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 1.8 or above.
- Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
- You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. At the time of admission, however, you must present their grade 11 and grade 12 passing certificates.
- Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by the college or TU.
MBS
- You must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree from TU or any institution recognized by TU.
- Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by TU / College.
MSc Microbiology
- You must have a 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from a recognized university, with a minimum percentage of 50%.
- Pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University.
MSc Physics
- You must have a 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from a recognized university, with a minimum percentage of 50%.
- Pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University.
About St Xavier’s College
ST. XAVIER’S COLLEGE, KATHMANDU, is a higher education institution founded and operated by the Nepal Jesuit Society. The Jesuits began their educational effort in Nepal with the establishment of St. Xavier’s School in Godavari in 1951, followed by St. Xavier’s School in Jawalakhel, St. Xavier’s School in Deonia, Moran Memorial School in Maheshpur, and St. Xavier’s School in Sadakbari.
