Courses (Tribhuvan University)

Eligibility

B.Sc CSIT

• The candidate must have a +2 degree or its equivalent in science, physics, and mathematics with 100-100 full marks at the certificate level, as well as a minimum grade point average of C or second division in each subject. Or,
• A level: The candidate must have taken science courses in physics and mathematics with a minimum grade of D in each subject and 100-100 total marks. Or,
• CTEVT- Candidates with a diploma are required to have taken physics and mathematics courses worth 100 to 100 points and received a second division. Or,
• Foreign Universities: Applicants must have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Curriculum Development Center for the appropriate level.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BIT

• The candidate must have a +2 degree or its equivalent with at least a C grade in all subjects in Class 11 and Class 12 with an English and Mathematics of 100 marks.
• A level: The candidate must have taken science courses in physics and mathematics with a minimum grade of D in each subject and 100-100 total marks. Or,
• CTEVT- Candidates with a diploma are required to have taken English and mathematics and received a second division.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BBA

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 1.8 or higher. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• Students awaiting their grade 11 and grade 12 results are also eligible to apply. However, individuals must have grade 11 and grade 12 completion certificates while applying.
• Pass the Entrance Exam (CMAT) (40 Marks) conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BBS / BA / BEd

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D with a CGPA of 1.6. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. At the time of admission, however, they must present their grade 11 and grade 12 passing certificates.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by the college.

MBS

• You must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree from TU or any institution recognized by TU.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by TU.

About Ramswarup Ramsagar Multiple Campus

Ramswarup Ramsagar Multiple (RRM) Campus is located in Madesh Province, Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan City – 12, Dhanusha. It is one of the constituent campuses of the Tribhuvan University. It was established in 1957 (2014 BS) with the objective of producing trained manpower in the Humanities, Management, Science, and Education sectors for the Government of Nepal in the Terai region. 

Initially, the RRM Campus offered the Certificate Level Program (PCL) for students to meet the government’s requirements. The campus concentrated on higher-level academic programs, such as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. In response to student and stakeholder demand, the campus established a Master’s level program (MA) in 1981 (2038 BS).

It now offers B.Sc. in CSIT, BIT, Microbiology, Physical Group, Biological Group, BBA, BBS, BA, B.Ed., and MBS, MSc (Math), MA in Sociology, Nepali, English, Math, Population, and Economics, and M.Ed. in EPM, English, and Math of Mater degrees.

RRM Campus, Janakpurdham, as a center of academic excellence institute in Madhesh under TU, aims to be a well-known institute for nation-building by providing intelligent and skilled manpower, emphasizing quality education and offering relevant courses through the integration of modern technology in teaching, learning research, and sports science, and developing all necessary physical infrastructure for education.

RRM Campus, Janakpurdham has the mission of educating students and developing them into informed citizens, as well as producing quality human resources required for the nation, by offering relevant academic courses, creating a friendly and conducive learning environment, facilitating all necessary physical infrastructure for teaching and learning, and providing scholarships to those who are unable to attend academic institutes due to economic constraints.
