Admission / Eligibility

Eligibility

Bachelor (Hons) (Computing & Technology)

Direct Entry to Level 1 of the Degree:

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent (any discipline) with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the SLC level. Or,
  • Completed A-Level with at least a pass in 2 subjects, completed O-Level or equivalent with credit in Mathematics. Or,
  • Completed STPM with 2 full passes or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.0, and completed SPM with credit in Mathematics.
  • A qualification that APU recognizes as comparable to those mentioned above.

Direct Entry to Level 2 of the Degree:

  • APU Computing & Technology Program Level 1 completion. Or,
  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. Or,
  • Any diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and credit in Mathematics at the SPM level. Or
  • APU-accepted equivalent qualification.

Bachelors (Hons) (Business)

Direct Entry to Level 1 of the Degree:

  • Successful completion of the 10+2 program or its equivalent in any discipline. Or,
  • 2 “A” level passes and 4 “Grade C” passes at the O-Levels/GCSE. Or,
  • 2 principal passes at all STPM levels. Or,
  • The APU foundation or its equivalent. Or,
  • A certification that the APU recognizes as being comparable to those mentioned above.

Direct Entry to Level 2 of the Degree:

  • The completion of the APU Diploma. Or,
  • The earning of academic credits in another accredited institution that corresponds to the first level of an honors degree. (Pending the APU Academic Board’s clearance.)

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

  • Admissions are determined solely by the results of the performed personnel interview and entrance exam. There won’t be an entrance exam for the Weekend MBA program.
  • The form must be turned in to the admissions officer within the allotted period, along with the necessary paperwork and the applicable costs.
  • After the administrative staff has reviewed and registered the properly completed admission form, the candidates will need to show up for a common entrance exam.
  • Through an oral interview with a panel of examiners, the candidates who made the admission examination shortlist will ultimately be chosen for enrollment.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

The students must present their original credentials and certificates at the time of submission for validation.

The documents required at the time of admission are:

  • A certified photocopy of the SLC character certificate and marks card.
  • xerox copies of the 10+2 mark sheets or an equivalent academic record, a character reference, a provisional pass certificate, and a migration certificate, all attested.
  • attested xerox copies of the degree (only for master’s level), the provisional pass certificate, and the marks card for the bachelor level.
  • Xerox copies of the experience certificate that have been attested (if relevant).
  • xerox copy of certified evidence of nationality.
  • All original certificates must be submitted by the student at the time of enrollment; these will be returned to them once the first semester is over, and the student must get the A/C department’s nod of approval for the current semester.
  • If a student plans to appear, their eligibility documentation must be submitted by the deadlines specified by the admissions department.

Scholarship

For students who are academically strong but have limited resources, the college provides financial aid to help them finish their studies. Scholarships will be applied based on the type of tuition. In accordance with government regulations, 10% of the yearly student intake will get scholarships. You must complete an application for financing and scholarships and submit it to the college’s administrative office in order to apply and find out if you qualify.

NATIONAL ICT SCHOLARSHIP

The recipients of the scholarships will attend LBEF CAMPUS to pursue a B.Sc.(Hons.) in information technology. This program will benefit students who have earned a diploma in computer engineering from CTVET or a 10+2 or equivalent from an accredited board. Students may also apply if they have taken the 10+2 exam or an equivalent exam. This program will particularly benefit female students, and it is being implemented in order to increase the educational prospects for the next generation of young women.

NEPAL CHAMBER BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP

The plan aims to give scholarships to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in order to improve their employability, boost their rate of higher education attainment, and give them greater possibilities for higher education.

The recipient of the scholarship will attend Asia Pacific University’s LBEF CAMPUS to pursue a BA (Hons.) in Business Management with a focus on E-Business. Students may apply for the scholarship if they have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent from an accredited board. This program will primarily assist female students, and it is being implemented in order to increase the educational prospects for the next generation of young women.

UDHYAMI BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP

This Scholarship is meant for students interested in joining the MBA morning program. It’s awarded based on the grade/percentage achieved at the Bachelor’s Level. Every student joining the MBA morning program will get a Scholarship (tuition fee only) equivalent to his/her undergraduate percentage /CGPA.  For example, if you have scored 83% marks in your Bachelor’s degree, you will get an 83% scholarship.

GYANDEEP SCHOLARSHIP

The percentage obtained on the High School Board Examinations or a comparable exam determines the recipient of this scholarship. This scholarship is limited to those who qualify for tuition fees. The following are the scholarship benefits offered in this category:

Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF) is Opposite of Maitidevi Temple, Kathmandu, Nepal. The non-profit, non-governmental Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF) was created in 1998 and has a long history of academic achievement in a wide range of subjects.

With more than 1,000 students enrolled, the Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF), which started off small, has steadily grown to become one of Nepal’s top universities.
