Admission / Eligibility

BE Programs:

• The candidate must have a Minimum  ‘C’ grade in all subjects in PCL/+2 with Physics or Biology with Extra Mathematics.
• Should Pass the IOE Entrance Exam

B.Sc CSIT

• The candidate must have a +2 degree or its equivalent in science, physics, and mathematics with 100-100 full marks at the certificate level, as well as a minimum grade point average of C or second division in each subject. Or,
• A level: The candidate must have taken science courses in physics and mathematics with a minimum grade of D in each subject and 100-100 total marks. Or,
• CTEVT- Candidates with a diploma are required to have taken physics and mathematics courses worth 100 to 100 points and received a second division. Or,
• Foreign Universities: Applicants must have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Curriculum Development Center for the appropriate level.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BCA

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. But you must submit a passed certificate of grade 11 and grade 12 at the time of admission.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BBM / BBA

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 1.8 or higher. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• Students awaiting their grade 11 and grade 12 results are also eligible to apply. However, individuals must have grade 11 and grade 12 completion certificates while applying.
• Pass the Entrance Exam (CMAT) conducted by Tribhuvan University.

MBS

• The candidate applying for admission into the MBS program must have successfully completed BBs from TU or any university recognized by TU. Or,
• Any candidate who has passed a Bachelor’s Degree from TU or a University recognized by TU is eligible. 

Scholarship

Engineering Scholarships

Full Course Scholarship: The college provides a few scholarships that cover all fees for the four years of the study based on the results of the IOE Entrance Examination. This scholarship is awarded to a select group of top-ranking students in the admission exams.

Academic Excellence Scholarship: Every semester, they honor the best student based on semester examination results with a scholarship that covers tuition for the next semester.

Special Scholarships for Girls: They promise to support and motivate female students to pursue careers in engineering and technology. As a result, They have unique incentives and scholarships for females to encourage their study and growth and to assist them in spreading their wings toward a brighter future.

BSc. CSIT Scholarships

Entrance Rank-Based Scholarship: They offer full scholarships that cover tuition fees for four years of the course to the top hundred (100) students in the IOST Entrance examination. And 25% scholarships that cover tuition fees for four years of the course to the top 100-500 ranking students based on the results of the IOST Entrance examination.

Academic Excellence Scholarship: Every semester, they award a scholarship that pays tuition for the following semester to the best student based on semester examination results. They also provide free textbooks for the semester’s top performers for the next semester.

Special Scholarships for Girls: They pledge to support and motivate female students to pursue careers in information and technology. As a result, they have unique incentives and scholarships for females to encourage their study and growth and to assist them in spreading their wings toward a brighter future.

BBA / BBM / BCA Scholarships

Government Education Scholarship (For BBA and BBM only): They provide 95% scholarships to up to six students who have completed their SEE and +2 exams from public schools around Nepal.

EB Pearls Australia Scholarship (For BCA only): The EB Pearls Australia Scholarship is given to two female students by EB Pearls Pvt. Ltd., a Sydney-based IT business that covers 50% of the scholarship holders’ total fees over the course of four years.

Scholarship Test: Kathford’s Department of Management holds scholarship tests for BBA and BBM students and grants substantial scholarships to the top two candidates in the test for BBA and BBM programs. Furthermore, based on the scholarship test, all students will earn some discounts.

College CMAT Topper Scholarship: The enrolled student with the highest entrance score will receive a full tuition scholarship for the first semester. In addition, the student will receive free textbooks for the first semester.

About Kathford International College of Engineering and Management

Kathford International College of Engineering and Management is located in Balkumari, Lalitpur. It was established in 2003 with a BBA program affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU).

They began with great excitement and hard work, with the goal of making a beneficial effect on society by providing exceptional education and generating remarkable graduates. In 2005, they were granted affiliation for engineering programs in civil, computer, and electronics, as well as the BSc. CSIT program in 2007.

In 2018, they were granted affiliation for two further programs, BBM and BCA. They have established themselves as one of Nepal’s best engineering and management colleges during the last 16 years.
