Courses (Tribhuvan University)

Admission / Eligibility

BE (Civil, Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Architecture)

• You should have completed your +2 education from a science background or equivalent.
• You should have scored a C in total in each subject of Class 11 and Class 12 with mathematics and physics 100 marks or 45% in total.
• At last, you must pass the entrance exam with a good score to get your name on the merit list of the college you are interested in.

BSc. CSIT

• The candidate must have a +2 degree or its equivalent in science, physics, and mathematics with 100-100 full marks at the certificate level, as well as a minimum grade point average of C or second division in each subject. Or,
• A level: The candidate must have taken science courses in physics and mathematics with a minimum grade of D in each subject and 100-100 total marks. Or,
• CTEVT- Candidates with a diploma are required to have taken physics and mathematics courses worth 100 to 100 points and received a second division. Or,
• Foreign Universities: Applicants must have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Curriculum Development Center for the appropriate level.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BCA

• Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. Or,
• Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
• You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. But you must submit a passed certificate of grade 11 and grade 12 at the time of admission.
• Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.

Scholarship

• According to a policy of Tribhuvan University, the college scholarships to 10% of total students in each engineering program throughout all semesters.
• The college also partial scholarships to students who top the semester exams.
• The student who receives the highest marks among all students in a semester at IOE is awarded a semester topper scholarship, which comprises 100 percent of the associated semester’s tuition fee.

About Himalaya College of Engineering

Himalaya College of Engineering (HCOE) was founded in 2057 BS (2000 AD) as a private engineering college. It is located in Chyasal, Lalitpur, and is affiliated with Tribhuvan University. It offers bachelor of engineering courses like  Computer, Electronics, and Communication, and Civil and Bachelor of Architecture. It has also other courses like BSc CSIT and BCA.

For a long time, the institution has been run by a solid team of professionals and academicians with extensive experience in educational networks. Since May 2007, the College has been affiliated with the KMC Educational Network, and it has extended programs and grown in strength as a result of its affiliation.

Mission

The College’s mission is to provide quality engineering education and produce professional graduates capable of facing new difficulties in the country and competing in the modern world by implementing short-, medium-, and long-term strategic plans.

Vision

HCOE’s vision statement is to develop itself as one of the main centers of learning in the field of science and engineering by supporting several engineering educational programs and fostering research, training, and consulting services.

The strategic goals of Himalaya College of Engineering are:
