Admission / Eligibility

B.Sc CSIT

  • The candidate must have a +2 degree or its equivalent in science, physics, and mathematics with 100-100 full marks at the certificate level, as well as a minimum grade point average of C or second division in each subject. Or,
  • A level: The candidate must have taken science courses in physics and mathematics with a minimum grade of D in each subject and 100-100 total marks. Or,
  • CTEVT- Candidates with a diploma are required to have taken physics and mathematics courses worth 100 to 100 points and received a second division. Or,
  • Foreign Universities: Applicants must have obtained an equivalence certificate from the Curriculum Development Center for the appropriate level.
  • Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BCA

  • Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. Or,
  • Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
  • You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. But you must submit a passed certificate of grade 11 and grade 12 at the time of admission.
  • Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BBA

  • Applicants should have a minimum grade of ‘C’ (1.8 GPA) in all subjects of grades 11 and 12 with a CGPA of 2.41 and must have talked Business Mathematics as a compulsory requirement. Or,
  • A minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent in any discipline.
  • You should score a minimum of 40 marks in the CMAT entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University.

BBS / BIM

  • Grades in 11th and 12th grade must be at least D+ with a CGPA of 2.2 with a minimum of 100 full marks, of course, each in English and Economics or Mathematics. Or,
  • Second-division marks in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent grade in any discipline are the required minimum. Or,
  • You can also apply if you are a student awaiting your grade 11 or grade 12 results. At the time of admission, however, you must present their grade 11 and grade 12 passing certificates.
  • Pass the Entrance Exam Conducted by the college.

About the College of Applied Business and Technology

Applied Business and Technology College Formerly known as the College of Applied Business (CAB), it was established in 1998 by a group of seasoned educators and business experts. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to excellence. It is affiliated with Tribhuvan University and provides courses like BSc. CSIT, BCA, BBA, BBS, and BIM.

According to the college, having highly skilled and competent labor is a requirement for the country’s overall development. Additionally, students who are well-educated, have high moral standards and possess in-depth topic knowledge will be more respected by society. Additionally, it will be simpler for them to continue their study at reputable educational institutions.

CAB has implemented appropriate modules and techniques in the teaching curricula to ensure that students are competent in their disciplines. Seminars, research, and industry observation visits, which are frequent components of the College, have proven extremely effective in improving students’ knowledge and personalities.

Furthermore, CAB’s methodologies have been adequately justified by its pupils’ persistent high success rate in university final examinations.

Facilities

  • Cafeteria: A tiny but tidy restaurant supervised and run by the College will serve western-style lunch to students. A tomato cheese pizza, a cheeseburger, or a vegetable footlong will be on the menu.
  • Class Rooms: CAB classrooms are purpose-built to promote interactive learning. The classrooms are large, well-equipped, and light.
  • Library: CAB has a well-stocked reference library with a considerable number of course materials, reference books, professional journals, and research papers produced in the country. CAB is also transforming the library into a full-fledged documentation center in order to enhance research activity.
  • Sports & Recreation: Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, and other sports are available at CAB. Other leisure events will also take place in collaboration with Student Council.
  • Computing: CAB has three computer labs with a suitable number of computers. The facility is networked together.
