About Bhaktapur Multiple Campus

In the historical city of Bhaktapur, the year 2016 Kartik 19 B.S. has been designated as one of the most significant dates in terms of education. The primary cause for this was the development of Bhaktapur Multiple Campus, which gleamed as a stepping stone to education for Kathmandu Valley’s youngest metropolis.

As we all know, the formation of an educational institution in the Rana Regime was primarily simply in the papers, which is a sad reality. At the time, Bhaktapur had only one school, the Bhaktapur English School, and two learning centers, the Sanskrit Pathshala and the Kanya Pathshala. In 2003 B.S., Bhaktapur English School was renamed Shri Padhma High School.

Padhma High School was one of the several educational institutions named after the Rana Regime. It was reported that in the year 2003 B.S., there was not a single graduate in Bhaktapur.

Bhaktapur has always been interested in Kalakaushal, TantraMantra, and Religion, which has prevented it from progressing in education. This might be because Bhaktapur was viewed and given prominence as an agricultural hub among Kathmandu Valley’s sibling cities. Bhaktapur’s major focus was business and agriculture.

At the time of Madhyakal, there were smart individuals who were interested in literature. Vidyarthi Niketan and Sharada School were formed after 2003 B.S. After the Rana Regime fell in 2007 B.S., residents in Bhaktapur still lacked access to higher education, with Kathmandu being the sole choice for many years.

People in the area had a strong desire to obtain a higher education, and after many attempts, the wait was finally finished in 2016 when Kartik 19 B.S., Public College was granted permission to open and provide instruction up to the intermediate level. All of this was made possible by the cooperation of the then-Samsad, late Jagannath Acharya, Prof.

Yaishwaryalal Pradhananga, magistrate Pushkarlal Maskey, Principal Chandra Bahadaur Shrestha, Sarbagybhakta Malla, Durgaprasad Hada, and the people and students. Pushkarlal Maskey, the then-magistrate, presided over the formation of the college aid and trust committee.

The college aid and trust committee acted as the management committee and chose to operate 5 particular disciplines, and Bhaktapur College was created on the auspicious day of 2016 Kartik 19 B.S.
