About Amrit Science Campus

In 1962, he became the founding Principal of Public Science College (now Amrit Campus) and began teaching as a Chemistry professor.

Late Principal Amrit Prasad Pradhan founded Amrit Campus to promote science and technology education in Nepal. His entrepreneurial energy, devotion, and excitement have immensely benefitted the university. On January 24, 1966, he perished in an aviation collision over Mt. Blanc while on a mission for a college-related cause in the United States. The country lamented the demise of this beautiful spirit.
