Bachelor in Civil Engineering (BE Civil)
Basic Information
Bachelor in Civil Engineering (BE in Civil Engineering) is a 4-year course run by Tribhuvan University (TU)’s Institute of Engineering (IOE). There are 5 constituent campuses which are Pulchowk Campus, Thapathali Campus, Purwanchal Campus, Pashchimanchal Campus, and Chitwan Engineering Campus. Likewise, there are 10 private colleges with TU affiliation to run selected engineering courses.
Eligibility
- You should have completed your +2 education from a science background or equivalent.
- You should have scored a C in total in each subject of Class 11 and Class 12 with mathematics and physics 100 marks or 45% in total.
- At last, you must pass the entrance exam with a good score to get your name on the merit list of the college you are interested in.
Scholarship
According to Tribhuvan University’s Institute of Engineering policy, every constituent as well as affiliated private college should provide 100% scholarship to a total of 10% of students in each faculty. The scholarship is based on the merit list which is published by IOE after the entrance result.
